Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Ford Fusion. Active Noise Control Microphone. Removal and Installation  WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this section, refer to Safety Warnings in section 100-00 General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

  1. Lower the headliner.
    Refer to: Headliner (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  1. NOTE: Rear microphone shown, RH side and LH side microphones similar.


    Release the tabs and remove the ANC microphone.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
