Ford Fusion: Automatic Transmission - 6-Speed Automatic Transmission – 6F35 / Roll Restrictor RH. Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
    Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).
  1. Remove the retainers and the engine front undershield.

  1. Remove the bolts, remove the roll restrictor and the bracket.

Installation

  1. Install the roll restrictor and the roll restrictor bracket and tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.
    Torque:
       1:   92 lb.ft (125 Nm)
       2:   92 lb.ft (125 Nm)
       3:   92 lb.ft (125 Nm)
       4:   85 lb.ft (115 Nm)
       5:   111 lb.ft (150 Nm)

  1. Install the engine undershield and the retainers.

  1. Install the engine front undershield and the retainers.

    Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor. Removal and Installation
