Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the front wheels and tires.
    Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
  1. On both sides.
    Remove the rivet push pin and the screws from the front of the fender liner.

  1. Remove the screws and the lower radiator closeout.

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  1. If equipped.
    Remove the pin-type retainers, the screws and position the air deflector down.

  1. If equipped.
    Disconnect the electrical connector and release the wiring harness guides.

  1. Remove the nuts and position the fender liner aside.

  1. Remove the front bumper cover-to-fender bolts and the push pin.

  1. If equipped.
    Disconnect the electrical connector.

  1. Remove the upper front bumper cover bolts, the screws and the push pins.

  1. With the help of assistant.
    Release the sides of the front bumper cover from the brackets and position forward.

  1. Remove the front bumper cover.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    1. Detach the wiring harness retainer and remove the front bumper cover.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    The tire pressure monitoring system measures pressure in your road tires and sends the tire pressure readings to your vehicle. You can view the tire pressure readings through the information display. The low tire pressure warning light will turn on if the tire pressure is significantly low. Once the light is illuminated, your tires are under-inflated and need to be inflated to the manufacturer’s recommended tire pressure. Even if the light turns on and a short time later turns off, your tire pressure still needs to be checked.
